Reed Constructions: Head Office Sydney

A complete reworking of Reed Constructions accommodation over four levels was necessary to accommodate company growth and to provide quality environments for their staff and clients.

Reed formulated a staging plan for the works and our design and documentation work supported this with areas being completed so that staff could be relocated to enable further areas to be refurbished. This process also involved the establishment of prototype areas so that workstations, chairs, storage and the like could be assessed and reviewed by the client in situ.

The newly completed project features a cathedral like staircase void connecting the three main levels. The coloured glazing, lighting and material treatment of this volume creates a light and airy connection for those working in the adjoining spaces.

A High priority in this project, were staff and client facilities. These consisted of breakout spaces and dining areas that lead onto a large external terrace with reflection pools, a barbeque area and various seating options.
