When the first floor became vacant in KPMG’s head office building in Shelly Street JPA&D were asked to
modify a previous proposal to develop a cost effective fitout that was bright and active.
The requirements for staff training rooms, breakout spaces, cellular offices and open plan workstations were
developed and joinery detailed, finishes selected and furniture chosen to provide a bright and active workspace.
Some modifications were undertaken to the original layout to improve circulation and access with a neat power
blade design delivering power and data to island workstation pods.
The final project proved to be a popular contrast.
