At Vision Australia in Kensington, Victoria, the challenge was converting an existing warehouse and
associated offices into Client Services accommodation, a Business Enterprises facility and offices for
administration staff.
As with all Vision Australia projects the core client requirement for equitable access, use and enjoyment
drove the design process with the inclusion of new ramp, stair and lift access and the provision of external
toileting facilities for seeing eye dogs.
The distinctive Vision Australia corporate colours helped to transform a dilapidated and under-utilised
property into a vibrant and active facility that benefits people who are blind or have low vision.
