A wide range of environmental initiatives were incorporated into the new facility for Vision Australia at
Coorparoo in Queensland.
Designed in association with TVS Partnership in Brisbane, the building answered the core client requirement
for equitable access, use and enjoyment. In addition Vision Australia’s commitment to environmentally
responsible design was addressed by passive design strategies as well as underground rainwater tanks, solar
panels to generate electricity, solar hot water and the careful selection of materials.
Vision Australia corporate colours and facilities standards combined with the architectural form and
interior environments to create a strong aesthetic for this specialist facility.
